Dreams: wisdom, power, insight, magic, mystery, sincerity

Video Text:

Dreams are illustrations... from the book your soul is writing about you.-- Marsha Norman

Between the dreams of night and day there is not so great a difference.--CARL JUNG, Psychology of the Unconscious

Sometimes it is the dream that manifests the dreamer.--Beckon Call (working title), CG Walters

Night is falling, all around

Nothing's moving, above or underground

You take this time to walk the night

No destination, just a primal need.

The thirst is courting, the night must bring relief

But you don't know how

Dreams are more real than reality itself, they're closer to the self.--GAO XINGJIAN

The dream was always running ahead of me. To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it, that was the miracle. –-Anais Nin

Dreams are answers to questions we haven't yet figured out how to ask. --X-Files

Our life is played out in many more realms than this mere waking fragment—Beckon Call (working title), CG Walters

The great soul of which we are all a part of may dream through us, in our manner of dreaming, its own secret dreams… --Thomas Mann, The Magic Mountain

The dream is the small hidden door in the deepest and most intimate sanctum of the soul.--CARL JUNG, The Meaning of Psychology for Modern Man

In dreams and in love there are no impossibilities.--Janos Arnay

To define dream and waking experience as something completely separate is to walk in either reality with only a part of yourself. --Beckon Call (working title), CG Walters

Not Gone

Hold on to what is good,
even if it's a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe,
Even if it's a tree that stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do,
Even if it's a long way from here.
Hold on to your life,
Even if it's easier to let go.
Hold on to my hand,
Even if I've gone away from you.
--Pueblo Indian Prayer

re Not Gone You're "Still Here" (grief and loss)

Video description:
This video was made by http://www.gossamerheart.com/ to address the difficult subject of grief and loss. Being one who has lost someone I loved very deeply, I wanted to assure those who are moving through the process of grief that what Emily Dickinson said is true..."Unable are the loved to die. For love is immortality." It is my hope that this video brings some consolation into the lives of those who lost a loved one. Please come visit our web site @http://www.gossamerheart.com/ which offers help and support for the wounded soul. Winter Star Mountain: A Long Road Ahead

View from the top of Winter Star Mountain

This is footage of a walk from White Oak Creek to Locust Creek, to Colbert’s Ridge Trail, up to Deep Gap, and then to the top of Winter Star Mountain, (Black Mountain Range) Yancey County, NC, USA on a chilly 02 October 2011.

Winter Star, besides having a truly magical name, is an outstanding peak of the southern Appalachians. One of the highest mountains in the eastern USA, it offers some unique hiking opportunities and some of the nicest views one could imagine. Rising starkly above Deep Gap, there are some great vistas to be had of the ridge rising over the gap, and of the nearby peaks of the Black Mountains which loom all around Winter Star.
